Dave Grenon's Indistinctive Gait - [excerpt]
Less musical than knob-twister Dave Grenon's past endeavours, this was billed as a "performance for field recordings, bar patrons, and live electronics," which was an accurate description. The field recordings were abetted by Ayesha Lye, while Grenon's carefully strung microphones introduced some realtime sound collage.
You can check out some more from this set over on youtube:
[Track Could Bend is back at Wenona on Tuesday, November 3rd with sets from Ancient Egypt (Holger Schoorl + Pete Johnston) and Alaniaris (Michael Kaler + Mark Zurawinski with special guest Brian Abbott).]
