This group developed from Nick Storring's interest in the metal-reading qualities of humbucker pickups, with the group bringing a variety of implements to amplify. Storring worked with an old autoharp, while Jason Doell deployed a snare, bow, music stand, pitcher and ebow; Mira Martin-Gray had the head of a yard rake, kalimba, metal bracelet, vibrator, snare, ebow and other bricabrac; and Colin Cudmore had his customary assortment of found objects. Working out how to amplify and mix these sounds together over the course of their residency, this found them sharing the sonic space in a most satisfying way.
