- Another very cool rock'n'roll/literary event coming up, with Roddy Bottum (the mighty Imperial Teen, Man on Man, Faith No More) presenting new book, The Royal We. "[A]n ode to San Francisco, bicycle messengering, sex work, heroin, dreadlocks, the birth of politics in punk rock, wheatgrass, witches, crystal meth, coming out, self love and the burning down and obliteration of a great American city." Featuring readings from Bottum himself as well as Damian Rogers, Bechdel Test, Stevie Manning, Knowah Holder, Marni Marriott, and Vidal Wu.
