Exciting times at hand as San Francisco-based Jonathan Leidecker (who operates as Wobbly) initiated this meet-up with local legend John Oswald. While Oswaldperched with his sax and offered some garbled talk-squawking to complement Leidecker's mangled samples, the latter also processed Oswald's sounds, fingers dancing over an array of touchscreens as the inputs were granulated and resynthesized — a cavalcade of manipulated sounds, blips and squeaks where the sax's notes were sometimes coming out the speakers sounding like a calliope or harpsicord.
