if you saw last week's preview, it's no surprise that The Music Gallery's twelfth edition of their fall festival is the week's big event. I won't rehash what I said in the preview, but all of these events are worth coming out for, even — or especially — if it's something you don't know very well. This is a pretty varied festival, united by its theme of resistance more than genre limits, so as the MG settles into 918 Bathurst, come and experience the strange and the familiar mix and remix in new ways.
