Audiopollination headed over to The Tranzac's cozy Tiki Room for this special encounter with some visiting guests bringing electroacoustic creaks and scratches. Canadian sound-experimenter Tim Olive is currently based in Kobe, Japan, so this was a rare opportunity to hear (and see!) his mad scientist sonics, sproinging, bowing and flossing strings to create eerie textures. He was well-complemented by locals Allison Cameron and William Davision, making a realtime concrète concerto (which transformed, in the end section heard here, to a deconstructed record party).
