A fundraiser for my favourite venue sees musical worlds collide Thursday night, with all-stars from the Tiki's Sunday night jazz-and-tap jam being joined by the Polka Dogs' storytelling and Hex's raw rrrock. Speaking of all-stars, the secret weapon here might be the Unclassic Classics set, with "members of The Weather Station and US Girls, along with special guest Felicity Williams" shining up some dusty gems. There's some Silent Auction action as well.

- Posi Vibes — whose mandate is embedded in their name — is looking for some volunteers to "help make cool shit happen" in their efforts to "to create a positive equitable space that includes and honours the voices of women, people of colour, indigenous people and the LGBTQ community."
