Mira Martin-Gray & Kieran Maraj - [excerpt]This instalment of the Nilan Perera-curated SynapticSundays opened with a rare non no-input mixer outing from Mira Martin-Gray, deploying laptop and vocal mic to complement Kieran Maraj's computer setup. The combination turned out to be something of a mini radiophonic workshop, with slurping samples and breath-sounds sliding around in wide, bouncing stereo — at times, sounding like a Carl Stalling soundtrack to a Bergman film.
