Artist: Jason Collett
Song: My Daddy was a Rock'n'Roller
Recorded at The Dakota Tavern, Jason Collett's Basement Revue, December 1, 2009.
My notes for this show can be found here.
thank you for posting this, I heard it on cbc but it wasn't on his artist profile page
is this on an album? i checked on wikipedia after hearing it on cbc as well strange enough, but it made me think of my dad with fond memories.
I'm pretty sure this isn't released anywhere yet. This recording is from the first time it was played in public (the band was learning it as they went along!) and I'm pretty sure the new album was "in the can" by then.
I heard it last night at the Cafe du Nord in San Francisco. Loved the song, and thanks for allowing me to hear this performance.
