The first noteworthy festival of the warm-weather season is upon us. The tagline for this weekend-long affair ("An awakening of experimental music in Toronto") might sound a bit overly-sweeping (especially to those already involved with experimental music in Toronto) but there's no doubting the ambition from Invocation TO, bringers of cool culture to Geary Lane. With three nights and two days, there's definitely a chance here for some full-on immersion, and a nice mix of out-of-town guests (especially from the Montréal scene, courtesy of the festival's association with Suoni Per Il Popolo) and local faves.
